How many more games do they have to lose to get Cappy fired? He should have never been allowed to board the flight home from Phoenix after that dreadful effort

I've been debating with a few folks here about how major or minor of a problem Cappy is this season, but I don't think there's a soul alive who believes the team would actually be worse off without him. Things move so damn glacially slow on the Island even when it comes to glaringly obvious decisions.

Edit -- come to think of it, that should be the marketing slogan for this season. "New York Islanders: Glacially Slow on the Glaringly Obvious" Makes more sense than "A Shift in Power"

It's sad Vukuta. No reason Cappy should still be the coach. I cannot even get pumped for Strome with this mess of a team.

You said it UIF! What is the point of getting rid of Cappy after Christmas when the season is over? Management continues to do nothing until it's too late.

I'm sure Strome will be converted to a fourth-line grinder before long and then called a baby and whiner when he wants out.

You could call Sundstrom up today for a bottom six role. He is more than responsible and would not be overwhelmed. Pedan is hurt mayfield will need the whole year and Donovan should be back up already

He was playing well until his injury. Nothing more to add until he returns

Thanks, I do think that eventually Sundstrom will be the 3rd line C
and his size is definitely needed.....

I think 3rd line might be ambitious... Definetly fourth line though

4th line works and you have Casey 3 and Strome 2 and JT 1 and trade Frans.

I'm not very high on him... Not a great skater... Not creative. He has to be a north south player to be effective...
